Nissan has unveiled the PIXO as a compact electric car for everyday urban trips in Europe. It uses a 27.5 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, supports up to 50 kW DC charging and is quoted with up to 259 kilometres of WLTP range.
Customer deliveries are scheduled for early 2027. Nissan links the model to its Renault alliance: production is planned at the Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, while pricing and pre-orders are due to be announced in December 2026.
Small EVs are becoming an important competitive arena again. The decisive factors are unlikely to be peak power; parking convenience, real-world price, charging access and suitability for urban families and rental fleets matter more.
