Renault Group reported 1,165,133 vehicles sold worldwide in the first half of 2026 and placed electrification at the centre of its next growth phase. In Europe, electrified vehicles represented 52% of Group sales, including an 18.8% battery-electric mix.
Renault says the Renault 5 E-Tech electric is Europe’s best-selling B-segment EV, while the brand ranks second in the European hybrid and retail BEV markets. Dacia is expanding its hybrid share, and Alpine reports that more than 80% of its sales are now electric.
The Group plans further launches before the end of the year, including the Twingo E-Tech electric, Trafic Van E-Tech electric, a new Dacia Spring and Alpine A390 GTS. The broader shift is from individual EV launches to an electrification programme covering all three brands.
